COMMUNICATIONS

Considering the plurality of issues involved, one of the most important challenges is to be able to communicate, in a way that is appropriate and understandable to the public, the efforts made by companies that embark on the virtuous path of sustainability.

VIVA PROGRAM

A

NEW WAY OF THINKING ABOUT VITICULTURE

Participation in the VIVA Programme allows producers to be informed about the critical points of their production process, encouraging them to seek alternative solutions to reduce its impact. To this end, VIVA certification can be an essential factor for innovation throughout the value chain, helping to improve efficiency and reduce costs, thereby having a positive impact on the environmental and socio-economic aspects of production and distribution activities and enhancing the value and reputation of the company.

POINTS OF VIEW

WINE AND

SUSTAINABILITY

Wine is about culture, tradition, people. Sustainable behavior preserves the land, the community and the characteristics that have made that wine so extraordinary. Raising awareness of sustainability, even if only in specific segments of the value chain, is necessary and drives the entire supply chain, exerting positive pressure for the gradual adoption of sustainable behaviour across the board. The concept of sustainability is not limited to the environment, but encompasses all aspects of society, including the economy and social issues.
